Another fight down in the books for the great illipino warrior.
Nothing beats the atmosphere of a Pacquiao fight.
The man stuck with the gameplan, kept patient, and came out successful.
The Manny we see today is more mature as a fighter but, as fighters age, tolerance for pain increases.
The longevity of a fighter's career depends on damage taken.
Manny can't be taking those heavy haymakers from the likes of Bradley, he simply can't afford to.
Notice that ever since he received that KO punch from Marquez, his defensive skill stepped up a notch to another level. Btw, that was not a lucky shot, it was a perfectly timed counter-punch.
This leads me to the main point of this post.
Manny's fault lies within himself. When he lets anger get to him, he becomes confused.
There's a difference between fist of fury and being wreckless.
From what I saw from the last two fights, this was a concept that was touched on.
Now, with that being said, the infamous topic after every PacMan fight...
This type of fighting is not going to work against Floyd Mayweather.
If the dream fight of the century were to go down,
Manny would have to bring something different to the table.
A technical fight would only lead to another loss or a draw. As much of a fan I am, this is the truth.
Mayweather got his game together, its the same fight for him every time.
Here's what has to go down:
1. Donaire type attitude In-ring. A little cockiness will do (Ex: Anderson Silva)
He has to outshine Mayweather at what he does best.
2. More Manila Ice (Right Hook Counters over jabs)
3. Tactical Aggressiveness
